School of Art in the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences each year might offer up to 4 awards popular as the EASS Patrons Higher Degree Research Award. Eligibility Criteria for EASS Patrons Higher Degree Research Award

If you would like to be considered for this award, you need to meet the eligibility standards set by the university. Let’s find them out as under:

This award is offered/available to a continuing student each year who:

  • Is an international and/or domestic student, and
  • Has completed at least 96 units of a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) program in the School of Art, or at least 48 units of a Master of Philosophy program in the School of Art, at ANU (Australian National University).


The financial coverage of this award is $6000. There are up to four awards available to be applied for.

The last date to submit your application for the award is 15th September 2023. It is always advisable to apply as soon as possible.

How to Apply

As part of your award application, applicants will be in need to submit the below-mentioned documents:

5-10 images or hyperlinks of their works produced during candidature in a single PDF/PPT.

Proposal for funding that includes specific budget details of the amount requested. The application has to demonstrate how the funding will assist the student’s approved study program.
