One of the objectives of volunteering is to raise awareness of the rights of persons with disabilities and improve the conditions for their participation in cultural, social and economic circles. One of the main activities in a place where parents with children can have a relaxing time, meeting other families, having coffee and cake. It is a place where activities for the whole family take place: children’s group, moving around with different materials, performances and readings for children. All offers are open to everyone, with or without a disability. As a volunteer, you will have a daily routine of assisting the team with service and kitchen tasks while at the same time being in close contact with the many different families who visit the venue regularly. You can be a tandem partner to a disabled colleague while baking cakes or selling coffee for example.
Seminars upon arrival and mid-term. With the supporting organisation in Germany: two weekends and networking activities with other volunteers on other projects. German language courses will be offered.

There is room for your creativity, if you like!
