Expected Tasks: Volunteers will engage in a variety of tasks that include organizing and participating in used clothing fairs, starting a mobile application that maps used clothing stores, and conducting awareness campaigns against food waste. Volunteers will have the opportunity to collaborate with local schools, participate in event planning, and actively contribute to community-focused initiatives. Daily Routine: Volunteers can expect a dynamic daily routine that includes a mix of hands-on activities, learning opportunities and collaboration with other volunteers and community members. Activities may include sustainability workshops, event planning sessions, participating in community outreach, and setting aside time for app development and mapping. Support: Volunteers will be provided with comfortable accommodation. Each participant will receive pocket money to facilitate personal expenses, and a separate box will be allocated for food.

Training while volunteering

Volunteers will gain insights into climate change, and understand the impact of the textile industry and food waste. Events such as second-hand fairs and outreach actions are essential to the project. Volunteers will receive training in organizing the event. Empowering them to take on leadership roles and initiate positive changes is a key goal. Basic language support will also be provided to facilitate communication, ensuring volunteers are able to engage confidently with project stakeholders. This training will ensure that they are well prepared to contribute effectively to the success of the project.
