Mexico Government Scholarships 2024 are financial awards offered to international students to study in Mexico. Applications are invited for the Mexico Government Scholarships 2024. The last date to apply for the Mexico Government Scholarships is July 2024. Participating in this Call are more than 70 Education Institutions Superiors Mexicans (IES), all of which have academic programs approved for Mexican Government scholarships for international students. Applicants of all nationalities are welcome. The Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID) is the conduit through which the scholarship is made available by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE).

Financial Benefits

  • Mobility scholarships are available at the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree levels, with maintenance payments of 4 (four) times the Unit of Measurement and Update (UMA), which is now equal to $12,614.80 in Mexican pesos per month. The changes mandated by legislation may affect the Unit of Measurement and Update (UMA). Child support is provided one month late.
  • For Ph.D. scholarships: Doctoral Research Stays and Postdoctoral, Medical Specialties, and Subspecialties; a monthly maintenance payment of five) times the monthly value of the Unit of Measurement and Update (UMA), currently $15,768.50 in Mexican pesos. The changes mandated by legislation may affect the Unit of Measurement and Update (UMA). Child support is provided one month late.
  • Enrollment and tuition fees are paid in accordance with each Mexican educational institution’s program requirements and are contingent upon each institution’s final determination, which is communicated in the acceptance letter.
  • Medical insurance is provided by the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), effective for the duration of the scholarship period and starting on the seventh month of the award. For Private Institutions, this management will fall within the purview of AMEXCID. It will be done directly with the Higher Education Institution in the case of Public Universities.

  • Application for a scholarship, properly completed and signed.
  • Letter outlining your motivations for doing the studies or research in Mexico. (Maximum 2 pages, single-line spacing, letter Arial size 12).
  • the curriculum vitae. (Maximum 3 pages, single-line spacing, Arial, size 12).
  • Letter of academic acceptance from the receiving Mexican institution or the HEI’s response to the admissions application (see the acceptance letter’s requirements section).
  • Letter promising to go back to your country of origin.
  • Acceptance letter for the Call’s terms.
  • the birth certificate copy.
  • A copy of a current, color passport in open book style, or a photo ID from the government

Eligibility Criteria

  • Students with nationalities from any of the aforementioned nations may apply for scholarships.
  • Applicants do not, at the moment, reside in Mexico.
  • Depending on what the program for which the scholarship is requested requires, a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree
  • Scholarships will be given based on academic achievement.
  • The candidate’s high academic achievement in the desired field of study
